Church Covenant and Membership Agreement

Having been reconciled to God the Father, through Christ the Son, by the work of the Spirit, being evidenced by our repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, we enter this covenant with one another, as one local church in Christ (Eph. 2:13-22, Rom. 5:1-2, Titus 3:4-6, Mark 1:15, 1 Jn. 3:10, 23-24):

Whether gathered or scattered we will glorify God in all we do by depending on the presence of God and growing in the knowledge of God (1 Cor. 10:31, Matt. 28:20, John 15:5, 2 Peter 3:18).

To that end:

We will faithfully gather for weekly services placing ourselves under the authority of God’s trustworthy Word (Heb. 10:24-25, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, Heb. 4:12-13), confessing the gospel (1 Cor. 15:3-4, 1 Jn. 1:1-10), partaking regularly of the Lord’s Supper (1 Cor. 10:23-32), and celebrating believer’s baptism (Acts 2:38, 8:36-39). 

We will live in right relationships with God and others, pursuing holiness together in unity and love (Matt. 22:37-40, 2 Cor. 7:1, 2 Tim. 2:22-26, Eph 4:14-16, Matt. 18:15-20).   

We will pray, give, and serve for the advancement of God’s purposes through this church as it makes disciples locally and globally (Col. 1:9-12, 2 Cor. 9:5-15, Romans 12:3-8, Matt. 28:18-20, Acts 1:8).
