Psalm 23

¹         The Lord is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

²         He makes me lie down in

green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters.

³         He restores my soul.

He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

⁴         Even though I walk through

the valley of the shadow of death, 

I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

⁵        You prepare a table before me

in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

⁶        Surely goodness and

mercy shall follow me

all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

John 14:1-6
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

² In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?

³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.

⁴ And you know the way to where I am going.”

⁵ Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?”

⁶ Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Romans 8:38-39
³⁸ For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹ nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2 Corinthians 5:6-8
⁶ So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, ⁷ for we walk by faith, not by sight.

⁸ Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
